SHPOPL is pleased
to announce tie up with LITOS, Germany for Manufacturing
of their Hexapod system in our plant in India. Litos/ is a Germany
company formed by Prof. Wolters & have many
top class products like multi-directional Locked Plates, Hexapod
etc. under their belt. Under this licensed agreement, SHPOPL will
manufacture Hexapod components in India & will be sent for quality
assurance, marking & packing to Germany. After conformation
by Litos/ that that these products meet exact standard of LItos/,
they will then be sold in India & Internationally in the asian,
Middle East as well as African countries where the SHPOPL already
has marketing arrangements for its external fixator range. SHPOPL
has already conducted two international workshops for training Orthopedic/trauma
Surgeons in the technique & will be conducting more such workshops
in future.
Hexapod is a six-axis correction technique
for Deformity correction based on Stuart Platform. Deformity to
be corrected is now estimated by using software & six struts
& adaptors to the rings. The software generates a prescription
for patient to rotate its struts daily that is easy to follow &
deformity gets corrected at the end of the treatment as prescribed.
Hexapod parts & its software is excellent tool in the hands
of Orthopods for correcting bony deformities.
