We are an organization formed in 1960 with a group of professionals committed to the world movement of health care with the aim of producing quality products at affordable pricing. Early activity of the company was mainly confined to manufacturing program for the supply to Indian companies on OEM basis. The range was converted in to own brand manufacturing & selling in 1984 for Indian sub-continents. The organization reactivated itself in 1991 onwards in a limited company targeting Global market. Today, as SHPOPL, we have a strong presence in 27 cities within India & in about 28 countries globally.
The company has demonstrated strength by developing new products keeping up with international trends from time to time in the field of Orthopedic implants & instruments. This continuous development was achieved due to dedicated professional working as a strong force backed by sound technical attitude and professional management. efforts are always unidirectional for keeping quality on apex to business. Promotion of products by means of continuing medical education is way of life in SHPOPL. Graded symposiums with application labs/workshops are specially designed for surgeons for training them on various techniques through trained international faculty. Elaborate efforts are made to convince surgeons to use apparatus after proper exposure & training in the desired field.

About Manufacturing of Medical devices.
The Company has a reliable infrastructure for manufacturing its range at Bhosari Industrial area near Pune, 160 kms from Mumbai, the commercial capital of India. 23000 sq. ft. of with adequate infrastructure is the backbone of our committed quality system. The exclusive machinery set up of the Company consists of CNC Centers, grinding sections and Press Shop. The set up permits effective utilization of machinery in permutation followed by operations in finishing Plants in terms of buffing, electro-polishing and ultrasonic testing. Company’s professional management has defined complete infrastructure to today’s International requirements and machinery selected is State of Art. It has well trained engineers in the field of mechanical engineering, bio-mechanic and metallurgy. These three specialties are merged perfectly to render best output pertaining health care. The design and development section has been edged with latest 3D modeling and related Cam programs. The entire product upbringing is done by using latest techniques of the above modules & comprehensive usage of SAP system.
About Quality system for Medical devices
The quality system defined in the organization conforms to complete trace ability of the product to the raw material stage. Each product is manufactured under Batch program/manufacturing and has been allocated a Batch Number. The quality system maintained by SHPOPL for medical device is in conformation with ISO 9001-2000 & ISO-13485 certified by DNV. Product range have been approved for CE marking too.
